Summer Camp 2027
Trail to the Triassic invites campers into an outdoor adventure inspired by deep time, discovery, and exploration. Set within a prehistoric- themed environment, Scouts step into the role of field explorers as they navigate challenges, uncover clues from the past, and learn through hands-on experiences in nature.
Throughout the week, campers may take part in a simulated archaeology dig, where they carefully uncover buried “fossils” and artifacts while learning basic excavation and observation skills. They may also head into the field for dino tracking, practising awareness, pattern recognition, and outdoor tracking techniques as they follow clues through the landscape. Along the way, Scouts will explore the idea of living fossils, species that connect today’s natural world with ancient ecosystems.
